Complete c.1920's Babe Ruth Underwear Box w/Underwear & Obscure 14" Mini-Bat
Babe Ruth's unparalleled popularity during his playing days triggered a seemingly infinite number of endorsement opportunities, with one of the more notable promotional based collectibles being his late 1920's All-America Champion Nine Athletic Underwear, Issued in two sized boxes, the larger premium box measures 12-1/2" x 9-3/4" and in some instances, included a premium 14" mini-Babe Ruth model bat. Presented here is arguably the finest Babe Ruth underwear box in the hobby, complete with Ruth's underwear and the eclectic mini-bat. This premium sized marvel remarkably portrays overall EX-MT+ aesthetics, with the critical front of the box depicting a breathtaking "Sultan of Swat" portrait image that looks as if it has just been placed on a department store's shelf!

Spectacular to say the least, Ruth's pose within the All-America "NINE" insignia is virtually immaculate, with the imposing green background and remaining ad text exhibiting vibrant hues and vivid registration. No obtrusive flaws are evident, and all of the box's edging is completely intact. The Ruth underwear can be found within the box, situated in its original plastic covering, and more significantly, this magnificent offering also includes the seldom-surfacing Louisville Slugger replica mini-bat that was randomly inserted in the larger sized-premium boxes. The classic Babe Ruth Athletic Underwear marking is included on the 14" wooden bat that has likewise retained most of its original factory issued attributes.

This highly coveted collectible was issued in the later 1920's, during an era when Babe Ruth had already staked a claim as baseball's most dominate player ever via his myriad of tape measure home runs, magical 60 round trippers in 1927 and three world championships. While not extremely rare, its overall outstanding condition places it as possibly the finest preserved specimen extant. Considering this offering also includes the "Bambino's" underwear and scarce premium mini-bat, it merits the highest hobby accolades and a final resting place in any esteemed Babe Ruth collection!
