1959 Fleer Ted Williams 15-Card Uncut Sheet with #68 Ted Signs

In 1959, Fleer produced the Ted Williams Baseball issue, using existing Type 1 news service photo renderings, offered here as a 10-3/8" x 13-1/8" uncut sheet. This 15-card sheet displays creasing around the perimeter with touches along the edges and expected even wear at each corner. There is a tear that runs along the top edge that is 1-1/4" long, affecting card #32. Moderate handling wear may be evident as creasing and wrinkles, but little detracts from the allure of this display piece highlighting the greatest hitter of all time. Ted Williams retired in 1960 with 521 home runs and a .344 average over 19 seasons in Boston.
