(LOT 1195)
1961 Fleer #8 Wilt Chamberlain SGC 7 NM

WILT ROOKIE!!!...
Wilt Chamberlain was by far the most dominant centers that the NBA had ever seen in his day. His imposing size and skill around the backboards were unmatched as his 23,924 total rebounds remains an NBA record. Chamberlain's superior prowess around the net was proven by his 11 seasons leading the league in total rebounds, 13 NBA All-Star nods and 10 All-NBA inclusions. Rebounds be damned, he also led the NBA in scoring seven times and when he retired in 1973, he was the all-time points leader with 31,419 total points, since surpassed.

Wilt Chamberlain, most famously, became the only player in NBA history to score 100 points in a single game when he dominated the N.Y. Knicks on March 2, 1962. He unquestionably stands as one of the top 10 players in NBA history, with some historians still considering him the greatest all-time player. Offered here is a 1961 Fleer #8 Wilt Chamberlain Rookie SGC 7 NM. Issued only two years removed from his Harlem Globetrotter days, this Philadelphia Warrior rookie card stands as one of the most sought-after rookies in the hobby. This superior example presents sharp corners, with the brilliant image residing between four white borders. Bid to own this one!
