When the Beatles came out with their first movie, A Hard Day's Night, fans from all over the world rushed to get a glimpse of the Fab Four on the big screen. In 1964, Topps was ahead of the curve and produced this 55-card set to commemorate the film and the Beatles day in the life biopic. The Beatles were a worldwide phenomenon and Topps quickly caught on. This PSA-graded complete set is the #3 Registered Set with a GPA of 8.66, consisting of two GEM MINT 10s, 25 PSA 9s, three 8.5s and 25 PSA 8 NM-MT examples. Five issues sit atop the PSA Pop Chart as the highest graded in the hobby with 14 others offering only a single card higher. As usual, the first and last issues are the most difficult to find in high-grade, offered here as #1 There Were Always Spectators in a PSA 9 and #55 The Beatles Board A Train in a PSA 8.
