1953 Bowman Football Complete Set with 10 PSA-Graded
The 96-card 1953 Bowman Football set, known as the "big white football" set, is a challenging issue to assemble completely, especially in high-grade. Slightly less than 12,000 have been graded, of which only 127 have been holdered 9 MINT and only a pair have achieved GEM MINT status. Offered here is a near-complete ungraded set with PSA-graded HOFers and key cards. Graded cards are as follows: PSA 7: 11 Van Brocklin; PSA 6: 9 Motley, 22 Hirsch, 24 Bednarik, & 53 Tunnell; PSA 5.5: 56 Tittle & 96 Cross (last card); PSA 5: 21 Layne & 43 Gifford; and PSA 4: 26 Graham.
