Grover Alexander Signed "The Pride of the Yankees" Document PSA/DNA LOA

This 1941 Grover Cleveland Alexander Signed Consent Waiver pertains to the iconic film The Pride of the Yankees, the heartbreaking Lou Gehrig biopic. The movie, which brought Gehrig's tragic story to the silver screen, is known for its emotional depth, with even Babe Ruth making a cameo appearance. This consent waiver, signed by Hall of Fame pitcher Grover Cleveland Alexander (also known as "Old Pete"), granted permission for his name to be used in the film. Alexander's signature, in black felt tip, is prominently featured, with the letter dated in pencil "11/8/41," signed just in time for the movie's production. The letter is accompanied by an inter-office communication from Samuel Goldwyn Studios. A unique and significant piece of baseball and cinematic history authenticated by PSA.
