(LOT 1659)
Albert Pujols Professional Model Game Used Bat PSA GU 8.5

This Marucci AP5-LDM Custom Cut bat, used by Albert Pujols during his 2012 season with the Los Angeles Angels, is a true piece of baseball history. Measuring 34 inches in length and weighing 32.5 ounces, it shows significant signs of use, including ball marks, stitch impressions, bat rack marks, and a light coat of pine tar. The bat remains uncracked and features the number "5" stamped on the knob. It comes with an LOA from PSA/DNA, graded GU 8.5 (1B33803).

2012 was a year of transition for Pujols. After signing a 10-year, $254 million contract with the Angels, he started the season slow, batting just .217 in April. However, following the promotion of Mike Trout and a coaching change, Pujols found his stride, finishing the season with a .285 batting average, 50 doubles, 30 home runs, and 105 RBIs. His resurgence, including key performances like his two home runs against Derek Holland and a game-winning three-run homer against Ubaldo Jiménez, solidified his place as one of the game's elite hitters, despite a rough start. This high grade gamer is a must for the Albert Pujols and 500 Home Run collector!
