ST. LOUIS STAR!!!...As the 1969 season closed, speedster Lou Brock was no doubt on top of his game as he led the National League for the fourth straight time in stolen bases, which he would do four more times from 1971-74. He was also slightly less than halfway (1,406) to his 3,023 hits total. The six-time All-Star led St. Louis to the 1964 and ’67 World Series titles as well. Presented here is a 1969 Topps #85 Lou Brock holder 9 MINT by PSA. Not only does it exhibit breathtaking hues and image quality, but most significant is the near-perfect centering that does not reveal any tilt whatsoever. With only minimal OC favoring the right edge, this 9 MINT Brock presents a clear image of the left fielder, bat on shoulder, with sparkling yellow color on the front and a fantastic reddish-orange verso. Less than a couple handfuls have been assessed higher!
