1972 Topps Cloth Stickers Uncut Sheet - 55 Cards with Two Clementes & Two Aarons
UNCUT SHEET SET!!!...
The 1972 Topps Cloth Stickers set was never issued in packs but somehow made it out of the factory in 33-card set uncut sheets, which are very rarely seen today. Mirroring the 1972 Topps Baseball set, this set was typically hand-cut from an uncut sheet such as the one presented here. This uncut sheet is, in fact, a complete set with an additional 22 issues with two Hank Aarons and two Roberto Clemente In-Action cards, as well as two of Willie McCovey and Luis Aparicio In-Action. Overall, the sheet holds 55 cards and remains in excellent condition, displaying stray creasing along the left side, but nothing detracts from the four Hall of Famers represented on this wonderfully attractive and eye-catching uncut sheet of cloth stickers. Due to the way the sheets were cut, the cards along the top row are only 95% complete, which accounts for many of the cards being noted as short prints in price guides. All those cards are duplicates and are represented in completion on a lower row in the sheet.
