1910 Polar Bear Chewing & Smoking Tobacco Pack
In 1901, the American Tobacco Company virtually absorbed Luhrman and Wilbern Company, creating the "Polar Bear Chewing and Smoking Tobacco" brand. Offered here is a 3-14" x 4-3/4" x 1-1/2" Polar Bear 10-smoke cigarette pack. This super clean pack is astoundingly well-preserved with only a tiny nick on the front, down and to the right from the bear's nose. One of the best looking pouches out there. The blue tax stamp says it is from year 1910. However there is a red stamp over the blue tax stamp that appears to say "Factory No 6 First Dist Ohio Feb 9, 1931"
