The 1961 Fleer basketball set is one of the most significant in the hobby, holding no less than 44 different cards from this incredible issue, fourteen of which are rookie editions. With brilliant two-tone coloring and a black-and-white player image front and center, these issues surely were the bee's knees to every basketball fan of the early 1960s. Offered here is a 1961 Fleer Basketball partial ungraded set (44/66) which includes card #s: 1, 2, 4-7, 9, 11-13, 17-20, 24, 26-28, 30-35, 39-42, 45, 48-50, 52-58, 60, 61, 63-65. Key Hall of Fame examples are #s: 1 Attles (GOOD), 2 Arizin (EX-MT), 4 Bellamy (EX), 19 Heinsohn (EX-MT), 34 Pettit (EX), 39 Schayes (EX), 49 Cousy IA (EX) and 61 Robertson IA (EX). This set presents with 40% appearing EX to EX-MT with some cards looking nicer and 50% EX with the remaining 10% being VG or less, mainly due to centering.
