The idea of the Super Bowl was the brainchild of American Football League commissioner Joe Foss in 1961 to pit the champions of the NFL against the AFL victors. The "World Playoff" game didn't happen for another six seasons after the 1966 merger of the two leagues and was named the AFL-NFL World Championship Game. It wasn't until 1969 that the "Super Bowl" name was adopted (Super Bowl III). Offered here is an incredible run of every Super Bowl Program from the inaugural one on January 15, 1967 in Los Angeles through the 59th (Super Bowl LIX) in New Orleans, Louisiana on February 9, 2025. Overall condition of this magnificent find is EX+ with a few better and some lesser. Overall, an incredible find offered here of Super Bowl Programs. Great memories of years gone by!
