From 1907 to 1915, Tris Speaker roamed the outfield at Fenway Park, leading Boston to two World Series titles (1912 & ’15). In Cleveland (1916-1926), he again led the team to a World Series title in 1920, the franchise’s first. The Gray Eagle, as he was affectionately known, was an outstanding fielder who led the AL ten times in putouts but also posted eight seasons leading the AL in doubles. His 792 career doubles record still stands nearly a century after his retirement. Offered here is a breathtaking 1910-15 Tris Speaker 14” H&B Louisville Slugger Decal Mini Bat. We dare say that this could easily be the finest of its kind. Withstanding more than 110 years of storage and likely display handling, the shimmering finish remains clean and consistent overall. The decal displays minor visible defects but is still vibrantly colored with Speaker’s likeness still striking. This beautiful commemorative mini bat is devoid of the typical bumps and bruises sustained over 100+ years of storage.
