1968 was an unforgettable year for history and baseball and football cards alike. Memory Lane is thrilled to offer this 1968 Topps Football collection of more than 1,100 cards that come from a vintage collector who opened vending in 1968 to build sets. The cards included appear to all be NM at first glance, however, as expected, centering issues have affected over 60% of the issues. This collection is still chock full of stars and Hall of Famers with players that include #s: 25 Don Meredith, 75 Gale Sayers, 100 Johnny Unitas, 142 George Blanda, 162 Mike Ditka and five 55 Joe Namaths. This lot comes with three vintage Topps Vending Boxes. We can assume that two of the boxes are from 1968 in which these cards were obviously stored for over half a century.
