The Perez-Steele Great Moments set was produced from 1985 to 1997, with only 5,000 numbered sets released. Designed as an homage to artist Dick Perez's favorite card series, the 1911 T3 Turkey Red cabinet cards, this set celebrates the defining moments of Baseball Hall of Famers. Offered here is a half dozen rare signed #19 Mickey Mantle postcards that have been boldly signed in blue Sharpie. The Mick is depicted batting right-handed and preparing for a pitch that he can hit. Mantle muscled 163 home runs off American League pitchers batting right-handed. An incredible group of five high-end signed Perez-Steele Great Moments from the Yankee Hall of Famer they called The Commerce Comet. PSA/DNA has certified and encased all five as Authentic.
