Any Mickey Mantle fan would have been honored to receive a letter from the Commerce Comet himself. During the 1980s, The Mick understood his place in baseball lore and obliged with the Mickey Mantle Collector's Club. Offered here is a Mantle signed type-written form letter to "Mike" from Mantle's Dallas home address letterhead in blue ballpoint. According to the letter, Mickey also included a "lifetime membership card to the club" for Mike and a message to keep an eye out for the "Number 7" newsletter. Encased by Beckett as an Authentic 9 MINT signature, this is a beautiful relic indeed and would be an amazing addition to any New York Yankees or Mickey Mantle collection.
